Everything is in Bloom!

Although this photo really does no justice, thanks to all the rain and clouds, I like every other Seattleite, am obsessed with the cherry trees on the University of Washington campus. During the special week or two when they're in bloom, it's worth taking the long walk home to take a peek at them.

It's starting to get warmer and the sunshine will be coming out more often. Time to leave our cocoons and get our Vitamin D deficient bodies out in the sunny rays!

Rainy Day Lemon Drop: Celebrate Spring With French 75

Check out Rainy Day Lemon Drop to see the recipe for a refreshing beverage I enjoyed over the weekend.

A Greasy Fast Food Comparison: Dicks vs. Dicks

I spent the weekend on the other side of the state in Spokane having serious girl time with two of my best friends. It was on our Spokane bucket list that weekend to try Dick's Drive-In, Spokane style.

Although many of my east side friends love Dick's, I personally thought it was disgusting. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Dicks Drive-In in Seattle, and when I mean LOVE, I truly mean LOVE. But the Spokane edition was just not cutting it for me. I have some visual comparisons:

Seattle

Spokane

Seattle To-Go Bag

Spokane To-Go Bag: Notice the emphasis on the grease.

Seattle Fries

Horrible picture but Spokane fries. Pretty much the same thing and the death of me.

Seattle Cheeseburger.

Spokane Cheeseburger: Notice the patty to bun ratio.

Overall, I wouldn't say I would go back to the Spokane Dick's but it was worth exploring. Now, I am hungry and want French Fries...great.

Well Here We Go Again...

Blogging is an addiction.

As I often say, "I can never have enough" when it comes to new clothes or especially shoes. I think the same thing goes for blogs. I have been blogging for quite awhile now. Both in my professional life and on rainy day lemon drop, where I have been attempting to update Seattleites on the hips and happenings of the Emerald City Happy Hours. But, I felt that something was missing in my blogging life.

Everyday Wondrous has been a project I have thought of for quite awhile now. A place for me to share my thoughts, cool finds, and the simply wonderful pleasures of life.

I am excited to share 1 wonderful thing a day, (well, almost everyday) with anyone who may seem to care!
